Device Automation

Device Automation allows users to create smart rules that automatically control devices based on specific conditions. When a trigger event occurs (like a temperature change or switch state), the automation executes predefined actions on one or more devices.

Examples:

  • If Switch-1 power state changes to ON, turn Light-1 ON
  • If Temperature Sensor reports temperature > 22°C, turn Fan ON with speed 3

Access Device Automations by selecting the Automations tab in the bottom navigation menu.

Automations List

The Automations screen displays all automations for the current Home. Each card shows:

  • Automation Name
  • Event/Trigger (e.g., "If: Living Room Switch: Power > 1")
  • Actions (e.g., "Set: Bedroom Light: Power: ON, Brightness: 80")
  • Enable/Disable Toggle

Features:

  • Pull to refresh to sync from cloud
  • Quick enable/disable toggle on each card
  • Tap card to open Edit/Delete menu
