Device Information

Device Listing

Devices are listed at the Home level. All devices under a particular home are displayed under the "Common" room by default. Users can create additional rooms under the home to organize devices by location or purpose (e.g., Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen).

Device Information Overview

1. Access Device Control - On the Home page, tap the device you want to view. The device control screen will open.
2. Open Device Settings - Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the upper right corner to enter the device settings page.
3. View Device Information - Tap "Node Information" to view the device's detailed information, including:
   • Node ID: Unique identifier for the device (tap to copy to clipboard)
   • Version: Current firmware version installed on the device
   • Timezone: Device timezone settings (if supported)

Tip: You can copy the Node ID by tapping the copy icon next to it. This is useful for troubleshooting or sharing device information with support.

Firmware Version & Upgrades

Check for Updates

1. Access Device Settings - On the Home page, tap the device you want to update, then tap the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
2. Open OTA Section - Tap "OTA" to view firmware update information.
3. View Version Information - The screen displays:
   • Current Version: The firmware version currently installed on your device
   • New Version: The latest available firmware version (if an update is available)
4. Check for Updates - Tap "Check for Update" to manually check if a new firmware version is available.

Install Updates

1. Start Update - If a new version is available, tap "Update" or "Start Update" to begin the firmware upgrade process.
2. Wait for Completion - The device will download and install the new firmware. This process typically takes 2-5 minutes. Do not turn off the device during the update. The device may restart automatically after the update.
3. Verify Update - Once complete, the "Current Version" will update to show the new firmware version.
