Device Control

Users can control devices from the device listing. Based on device type, users can control the ON/OFF state or adjust device parameters (e.g., for lights: brightness, color; for fans: speed).

Device Listing​

Devices are listed at the Home level. All devices under a particular home are displayed under the Common room by default. Users can create rooms under the home to organize devices by location.

Room Management​

Users can create and manage rooms under a particular home. Rooms help organize and identify devices by location. Created rooms appear as tabs within the home.

Creating Rooms​

  1. Access Rooms - Tap the Welcome to Home button, then tap the Home Management button, which will navigate to the Home Management screen. Select the home into which you want to create/add rooms, then tap the Room Management tab. All rooms in that home are displayed.
  2. Create New Room - In the Room Management screen, tap the + button in the upper right corner to start creating a room. Enter a custom room name or choose from default room types (Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen, etc.).
  3. Add Devices - Select available devices to associate with the room. Multiple devices can be selected. Tap Save to finish.

Controlling the Device​

Based on device type, users can control the ON/OFF state or adjust device parameters (e.g., brightness and color for lights, speed for fans).

Switch Device On or Off​

  1. Quick Toggle - Turn devices on/off by tapping the switch button directly on the device card in the room list or under the Common room.
  1. Control Page - Open the device control page by tapping the device card. Tap the central power button to toggle the device ON/OFF state.
  1. Schedule Control - Schedule devices to turn on or off at specific times. Tap the Schedule tab, tap +, select the time, date, device, and action, then tap Save.

Local Control​

  1. How It Works - Devices connected to a Wi-Fi network can be controlled locally without requiring cloud, mobile network, or internet connectivity.
  2. Requirements - Ensure your phone and smart device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Indicator - The local control icon (lock icon with "Available on WLAN" text) indicates the device is available for local control.

Smart Device Interaction -- Bulb (White)​

  1. Access Controls - Tap a light device from the device list to enter the control page. The White tab is displayed by default for white lights.
  2. Adjust Brightness - Use the Brightness slider to adjust light intensity. Drag right to increase brightness, or left to decrease.

Smart Device Interaction -- Bulb (Color)​

  1. Switch to Color Mode - Tap a color light device to enter the control page. If available, switch to the Color tab.
  2. Adjust Hue - Use the Hue slider to change the light color. The bulb color changes as you drag the slider.
  3. Adjust Saturation - Use the Saturation slider below to adjust color intensity. Saturation increases as you drag from left to right.

Smart Device Interaction -- Fan​

  1. Access Fan Controls - Tap a fan device from the device list to enter the control page.
  2. Adjust Speed - Use the Speed slider to control fan speed. Fan speed increases as you drag the slider from left to right.
