How do I quickly run a RainMaker private deployment example using the standard app?

  1. Use the Evaluation Hub to flash the led_light example.
  2. Use the esp-rainmaker-admin-cli to generate certificates for the private deployment environment and flash them to the device fctry partition.
  3. Update the API base URL in the app. In the ESP RainMaker app on the Sign In screen, tap the ESP RAINMAKER Powered by ESPRESSIF logo 5 times to open the Config panel. Enter the private deployment API base URL.
  4. Register and log in using an email account. Private deployments do not support third-party login by default — only email registration is supported. A successful login confirms the private deployment configuration is correct.
  5. Scan the device QR code to complete provisioning.
